Welcome to the web site for Middlesex Woodturners Association.
The club has over 100 members, men and women, ranging from beginners in woodturning to professional turners and covering a broad age range.
Meetings are held monthly on the second Thursday of the month. Meetings are held in Northolt (see About Us) and are always well attended by members.
Guests and visitors are always made most welcome.
Thew New Gantry
The January meeting saw the first appearance of the new gantry designed and built by Tony Champion. It supports lighting and cctv cameras providing a much enhanced viewing experience for members watching demonstrations. Three cameras provided a range of views of the turning in progress including a top-down view. After its first trial Tony said he will be making a few minor alterations to improve the gantry further. It is certainly going to be a welcome addition to future club meetings. Thank you Tony.
